Guest lecturer Claudia de Fuentes - International Staff Week

One of the lecturers was the visiting Professor Claudia de Fuentes from Saint Mary’s University in Canada - our long-standing partner institution.

During her visit, Professor de Fuentes gave an engaging and thought-provoking lecture on the topic: High tides make good wines. Knowledge place-based development in the craft wine industry for rural revitalization. Her presentation offered valuable insights into the role of local knowledge and innovation in supporting rural development through the craft wine industry.

Saint Mary’s University has been our partner institution for many years. Through this collaboration, we have welcomed both academic staff and students from the university.
