On its 4 th session held at 20 th of January 2022, the Council for the Electronic Media of the Croatian Agency for the Electronic Media has delivered a decision to fully accept the evaluation of the narrative report of the journalistic project Public Dialogue on Academic Education of Journalists by the author Tijana Vukić, PhD, HEJDE project leader. Namely, the evaluation committee determined that all obligations are successfully fulfilled based on the process of analysing narrative report and checking its accuracy. The narative report was submitted on 11 th January 2022 since it was to be sent within one month after project finalization.

In a December 2021, a chapter authored by HEJDE project team members Tijana Vukić and Mato Brautović has been published in a scientific book titled 30 de ani de învățământ jurnalistic și de comunicare în fostele țări comuniste din Estul Europei. The book is published by   respectable Romainan publisher Tritonic Books and edited by Romina Surugiu, Adriana Ștefănel and Nicoleta Apostol.

The online interview with the retired professor doctor Nada Zgrabljić Rotar was conducted at the end of December 2021 by doctor Tijana Vukić and published in the electronic publication H-Alter on 31 December 2021. This is the last text part of the project Public Dialogue on the Academic Education of Journalists which was financed by the Agency for the Electronic Media last year based on a Public Call for Contracting Journalism Texts in Electronic Publications.

A few days ago, H-alter published a new article on the topic of journalism education. Namely, it is the conversation with doctor Iva Rosanda Žigo, head of the Postgraduate Doctoral Study “The Media and Communication” at the University North in Koprivnica that was conducted online by the doctor Tijana Vukić in mid-November. It tackled the topic of the postgraduate degree of higher education of journalists in Croatia, i.e. the doctoral study.

From April to December 2021, in cooperation with the electronic publication H-ALTER published by the Association for Independent Media Culture from Zagreb, Tijana Vukić, Ph.D. will publish 10 journalistic articles on the topic "Public dialogue about academic education of journalists". This is the first time that articles on the topic of higher education of journalists are published in the Croatian media in a systematic and planned way.

HEJDE project gets its logo
At the beginning of February 2021, the project got its logo. The result is the joint work of the university designer and head of the university Publishing office, Robert Stanojević and the project PR team.
Project Activities Teams Begin to Work
On 13th January 2021, members of project activities teams began to work virtually due to the circumstances related to the COVID-19 pandemic.  At the beginning, communication was established among all members of individual teams, and basically, plans for the implementation of project activities were agreed upon.
The HEJDE Project Started
As announced, the institutional scientific project of an international character “Higher Education of Journalists in a Digital Environment (HEJDE)” has officially started as planned, in January 2021, by continuing the initial communication among members of different project activity teams.
